Our Team

Chanan Communications brings a team of experienced professionals with demonstrated experience providing strategic and tactical communications planning in domestic and international markets. We have a strong record of developing and implementing innovative strategies across multiple channels that result in long-term brand equity for the company including employee loyalty and advocacy. Our team has the proven ability to influence media and analysts, and create impactful stakeholder communications that add to bottom line gross profit, as we pay close attention to budgets, time frames, and results.

Kris Kozamchak

Principal, Chanan Communications

Kris Kozamchak is the founder and principal of Chanan Communications. She jokes that Nike stole the motto “Just Do It” from her as she brings passion and expertise to each project and stops at nothing to get the right results for each client.
With more than 25 years experience in communications and marketing, Kris brings a wealth of industry knowledge to each project. She led PR and marketing teams at CommScope, BT (British Telecom), NEC and Nortel and served a number of small and large clients as the Vice President of the Technology Practice at Edelman in Dallas.
Kris’ passion is to build a healthy community through acts of service and kindness. She is a member and serves on the Legacy Chapter Board of Young Men’s Service League, serves as Treasurer for a PTSA Board, volunteers for The Blessing Project, and practices karate. She is also a member of Women in Wireless Leadership Forum and former elder at her church.
Fabiana (Fabi) Macedo

Founder, Punto Comunicação

Fabiana Macedo is a journalist and the founder of the LATAM agency Punto Comunicação. She is also the director and columnist of the news portals AiotBrasil and AiotPT, dedicated to artificial intelligence, and the creator of the management and technology podcasts Expresso Talks and Expresso Cast.

With 30 years of experience in corporate communications and journalism, Fabiana has worked in leading mainstream media outlets as well as specialized technology press. She has also led corporate communication and marketing strategies for major companies in Brazil and across Latin America.

Her career combines journalistic credibility with strategic vision, delivering tailored solutions in PR, digital marketing, and brand positioning for clients seeking to strengthen their presence in Latin America, Portugal, and Spain.

Recognized for turning complexity into clear and impactful narratives, she connects companies, innovation, and people from different parts of the world. Her strategic work is grounded in building communication that is solid, relevant, and capable of generating business results across cultures and markets.

Cherie Gary

Principal, Gary & Partners

Kris and Cherie first started working together at Ernst & Young in Washington, DC 20 years ago and have remained running mates ever since. A member of our extended team, she helps our clients with a full range of executive communications, marketing and public relations initiatives. Her specialty is focusing on the complex and translating it to plain English through messaging, investor communications, websites, digital marketing content and earned media initiatives.
Over the years she has delivered successful programs for global employers and clients large and small – including Alcon, AT&T, Nokia, Samsung Wireless Enterprise, Sony and Sony Ericsson, Republic Wireless, Barber Partners, Ztar Mobile, ROAM Smart Parks, Navini Networks (acquired by Cisco), JP Mobile (acquired by Microsoft), Spatial Wireless (acquired by Alcatel). She also led account teams for numerous national PR agencies serving clients including Samsung Mobile, Comerica Bank Texas and Texas Instruments.
Aharon Etengoff

Content Strategist, Chanan Communications

Aharon brings years of writing experience from both the semiconductor and telecom sectors. At Rambus, he focused on creating content for HBM and GDDR memories, as well as interface and security IP. During his time with Synopsys, he explored AI-powered EDA tools, chiplets, 3DIC, and NPUs for readers of the company blog. At CommScope, Aharon managed media relations for the 5G outdoor wireless network segment and authored technical articles and bylines. As TG Daily Managing Editor, he oversaw a team of writers covering trending tech topics.

Abigail Streich

Marketing Manager, Chanan Communications

Abigail Streich is a dynamic marketing professional with a unique blend of technical fluency and creative vision. She specializes in bridging the gap between complex technology and meaningful storytelling, making her a strong fit for Chanan Communications’ mission to help tech companies “influence the influencers.”

With years of hands-on experience in AV systems, digital media, website management, and social media strategy, Abigail brings deep technical skills alongside a passion for messaging that resonates. She has operated multi‑camera livestream systems, trained teams on broadcasting software, managed high-volume content workflows, and leveraged tools like Squarespace, Canva, ProPresenter, and Adobe Lightroom to deliver polished, brand-aligned outputs.

Abigail is known for her rapid adaptability: she learns new platforms quickly, and is often the go-to for peers when they need help mastering a tool. Whether it’s walking a colleague through an unfamiliar interface or designing templates for repeated use, she thrives in teaching and supporting others.

Naomi Williams

Digital Marketing Intern, Chanan Communications

Naomi joins Chanan Communications as a Certified Digital Marketer with a passion for growing companies and an expertise in social media strategy. With an analytical mind and a creative spirit, Naomi has successfully grown startup businesses with effective social media campaigns that increase brand awareness and customer engagement. In addition to her professional pursuits, Naomi is passionate about community service and environmental conservation. She has interned with Flow DFW, where she coordinated restoration efforts, contributed to social media growth strategies and created engaging content to promote environmental awareness. Naomi is also dedicated to continuous learning and holds several certifications, including Inbound Marketing, Content Marketing and Digital Marketing certificates. Outside of work, Naomi enjoys exploring new marketing trends, participating in environmental clean-ups, and spending time outdoors. Her commitment to making a positive impact both professionally and personally makes her a valuable addition to the Chanan Communications team.

Joe Kozamchak

Financial Manager, Chanan Communications

Joe is the financial manager for Chanan Communications making sure our bookkeeping is in order. He also works in security at a local elementary school. Joe has a BBA in Business Administration and Management from Dallas Baptist University.
In his off hours (which are few), Joe encourages his eldest daughter in her healthcare career, cheers on his son in high school soccer, and his youngest daughter in karate. He also volunteers in the community and with his church.

Charlie Rubin

Principal, StoryPR

Charlie has more than 30 years of experience in technology analysis, marketing communications, journalism and strategic public relations. His current client roster includes CommScope, Sonic Foundry, Stellar Cyber and TE Connectivity.
As a technology writer, author, and journalist, Charlie began his career as an associate editor of Personal Computing magazine, later wrote dozens of freelance articles for many technical and business publications (including InfoWorld, PC Week, Popular Science, Newsweek, UnixWorld, and The Wall Street Journal), and was nominated for a National Magazine Award. His technical marketing communications clients have included Apple Computer, Ashton-Tate, Cisco Systems, Compaq, HP, Intel, Lotus, Microsoft, and Xerox. In addition, Charlie has written 15 books about computer hardware, software, and Internet marketing for such publishers as Addison-Wesley, Houghton-Mifflin, Howard Sams, Microsoft Press, and Pearson Publishing.
Kathy Catoe

Principal, KTO Group

Kathy Catoe is a principal of KTO Group, LLC, a full-service marketing consultancy that utilizes social media strategy as part of an integrated marketing plan. Kathy also serves as Digital Marketing Specialist for Trifecta Public Strategies, a proudly unconventional and creative communications firm with an emphasis on reputation management. She is an Inbound Marketing Certified Professional with marketing, advertising, public relations, business development, sales management, and content creation experience for organizations in finance, healthcare, technology, nonprofit and retail.
Kathy provides coaching, training, and public speaking on social media strategy and platforms for clients, marketing professionals, job seekers, students, and community organizations. She has a Bachelor of Journalism in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin. Kathy served as a Board Member and volunteer for Social Media Dallas from 2009 to 2016 and has provided social media training and courses for SCORE.

Lois Whitcomb

Marketing Consultant, Chanan Communications

Lois Whitcomb joined our team in May 2022 and brings experience in social media, marketing, and corporate communications. She has a unique knowledge of digital marketing and design that yields incomparable results for each client.
Outside of work, you will find Lois at local high school band performances or volleyball games. She is also the Assistant Leader of her local 4-H club and an active member of the school booster group.
